Range Rover Velar HST will be based on the R-Dynamic version. It will feature a black contrast roof, full exterior Black Pack, bespoke 21-inch wheels with a five spoke design, privacy glass and a new Arroios Gray exterior color which is exclusive to the HST. The HST will have Adaptive Dynamics which constantly work to monitor the road conditions and adjust the electronic air suspension response accordingly. Inside the cabin, changes will include Black Suedecloth headlining and steering wheel plus a sliding panoramic roof. Other goodies include a surround-view camera and Park Assist Technology that can automatically park the car for you. Performance is provided from two inline-six engine choices, either the the P400 (395 horsepower gasoline) or the D300 (296 horsepower diesel). Both engines feature mild hybrid technology and an acceleration of 0 to 100kmh (62mph) in 5.2 seconds To differentiate it, there will be a “HST” emblem below the “VELAR” branding on the car’s rear. “The new Range Rover Velar HST offers a combination of carefully curated design enhancements and chassis features; to add to its breadth of capability, without compromising its trademark refinement and comfort,” said Land Rover brand director Finbar McFall. The 2023 Range Rover Velar HST will have a base price of $80,350. For comparison, the entry level 247 hp Velar started at $61,450, both prices inclusive of destination fees.
