The “Apple Silicon” chip provides a performance boost and reduced power consumption. The MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini, iPad Pro, and iMac 2021 devices displayed at the Spring Loaded event in April 2021 all have the Apple M1 installed. The M1 is currently offered in four different forms: the M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max, M1 Ultra, and the successor M2, which is found in the M2 model of the Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch.
